Overview: All Pirates Charities 50/50 RAFFLE (the “Raffle”) tickets, transactions, participants, purchasers and winners are subject to these Official Rules, and to all applicable statutes, rules and regulations, including

 but not limited to the Licensing Law, the Rules and Regulations adopted pursuant thereto, and all other applicable rules and regulations adopted by any regulatory and/or enforcement agency having jurisdiction with respect to the activities to which these Official Rules apply.

Tickets: Pirates Charities 50/50 RAFFLE fundraisers will be conducted at each Pirates home game at LECOM Park throughout the Pittsburgh Pirates Spring Training season. Raffle tickets (“Tickets”) will be available from the time the gates open through the end of the 5th inning (the “Entry Period”). The winning Ticket number will be drawn at the top of the 6th inning, and the number will be announced during the middle of the 6th inning. In the event that 5 or less innings are played, Pirates Charities reserves the right to adjust the timing of the winning ticket number drawing.

To Enter: Entrants may enter the Raffle online:

An Entrant may obtain a Ticket by visiting, provided that the Entrant is within the “Raffle Area” (as defined below) during the relevant Entry Period. DATA CHARGES MAY APPLY TO USE OF MOBILE PHONE/DEVICE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RAFFLES. The Raffle will be available online only to individuals located within the state of Florida (the "Raffle Area") at the time of entry. Online entry is void outside the Raffle Area and where prohibited by law, rule, or regulation. No purchase or contribution is necessary to enter or to win. All online entries must include a valid e-mail address for the Entrant.  Online Entrants to the Raffle may be given the option to receive commercial e-mail from and/or If purchased online, Entrants will receive an e-mail with the Entrant’s Raffle numbers after the purchase.  Please note, there may be a delay in the e-mail delivery during times of high website traffic.  Any e-mail delays do not impact an Entrant’s chances of entering the Raffle.  All online purchases are subject to, and will be treated in a manner consistent with, Major League Baseball’s Terms of Use, which may be viewed at:, and Privacy Policy, which may be viewed at:  Raffle Ticket purchases generated by a script, macro or other mechanical or automated means will be disqualified.  In the event of dispute as to the identity or eligibility of any potential Raffle winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared to have been purchased by the Authorized Account Holder (defined below) of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry, provided he/she is eligible according to these Official Rules.  The “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the applicable Internet service provider or other organization (such as a business or educational institution) has assigned the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

Entrant may obtain a Ticket without making a purchase or contribution during the Entry Period at LECOM Park by visiting the Ticket Office and completing an official raffle form. Regardless of method, Raffle Tickets will only be available during the Entry Period.

Ticket Prices: No purchase necessary. Tickets may be obtained by request or with cash (United States ($) Dollars), credit, or debit for the following suggested donations:

  • 5 tickets for $10
  • 20 tickets for $20
  • 100 tickets for $50
  • 300 tickets for $100

Each ticket is a receipt for the Entrant and represents one (1) entry for that game's Raffle and is not eligible for any past or future Raffle drawings. Pirates Charities is not responsible for printing errors in any Raffle-related material or any misdirected, incomplete, lost, late or illegible tickets or other errors or problems that may limit the Entrant's ability to participate in or win any Raffle. False or deceptive entries or acts will render the buyer ineligible. Entrants may purchase as many tickets as they wish, subject to availability. No refunds will be made, except as otherwise determined by Pirates Charities in its sole discretion. Raffle ticket purchases are not tax deductible.

Eligibility: Pirates Charities 50/50 RAFFLE is open to all ticket holders to Pittsburgh Pirates Spring Training home games age eighteen (18) or older as of the date of entry. By obtaining a Raffle ticket, the Entrant agrees to abide by all terms of the Official Rules applicable thereto. Subject to all Federal, State, Local and Municipal Laws and regulations. By entering any 50/50 RAFFLE, Entrants agree to abide by all terms of these Official Rules. All 50/50 RAFFLES shall be subject to all Federal, State, Local and Municipal Laws and Regulations. Some restrictions apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Random Drawing: Every transaction is electronically tallied. The running total is periodically displayed and updated in real time on the 50/50 RAFFLE Kiosks and announced throughout the ballpark. The winning ticket number is selected by random drawing through an automated computer program upon conclusion of each game Raffle at the end of the 5thinning. Winners need not be present to claim his/her prize. One (1) winner will be chosen out of the pool of valid tickets for that game. The decisions of Pirates Charities are final and binding on all matters relating to any Raffle.

Winner Notification: The winning ticket number will be announced during the 6th inning. The winning ticket number will also be available at the Guest Relations booth by the main gate of LECOM Park. The number will also be posted on within three (3) business days of the game date.

Grand Prize: The holder of the winning Ticket shall be entitled to receive, upon compliance with these Official Rules, the greater of: (a) fifty percent (50%) of the Raffle Proceeds; or One Hundred Dollars $100.00) (the "Grand Prize").

To claim your winning prize, potential winners should go to the Guest Relations Booth by the main gate of LECOM Park or call (412) 325-4720. The Pirates Charities 50/50 RAFFLE ticket is the only valid receipt for claiming a prize and must be redeemed either in person or via mail. The potential Raffle winner will be required to submit his/her valid social security number and/or other identification to Pirates Charities and shall be required to execute and return a Winning Ticket Claim Form and a Publicity Release. Upon completion of the corresponding paperwork, a check will be mailed to the winner within six (6) to eight (8) weeks of claiming their respective prize.

Failure to submit any identification or failure to return required documents to Pirates Charities within the specified time period, noncompliance with these Official Rules, or return of any Prize or Prize notification as undeliverable, may result in disqualification and the Prize being forfeited and the Prize money being donated to Pirates Charities. Potential winners may also choose to waive their right to receive a Prize at which time the Prize from that drawing will be forfeited and the Prize Money will be donated to Pirates Charities.

The Pirates Charities 50/50 Raffle is governed by Florida law. All winners will be subject to the IRS rules and regulations regarding gambling winnings. For the season, Pirates Charities will complete and file IRS form W-2G and withhold federal income tax of 25% from the winner's proceeds in accordance with IRS guidelines and regulations for prizes at $600 and above. Prize winners who are non-resident aliens for tax purposes will be subject to all applicable withholding and reporting requirements.

All Pirates Charities 50/50 RAFFLE winners will have until thirty (30) days following the conclusion of the Spring Training season to claim their prize. If a prize remains unclaimed after thirty (30) days following the conclusion of the Spring Training season, the unclaimed prize money will be donated back to Pirates Charities.

Each Raffle winner assumes all responsibility for any state, county or Federal taxes, fees or withholdings. Each Winner is advised to consult his/her own tax advisor(s) with respect to the liabilities that may arise from winning a prize in the RAFFLE. No substitutes for prizes are allowed by any potential RAFFLE winner. Potential RAFFLE winners may waive their right to receive a prize (i.e., decline the prize), at which time the prize from that drawing date will be forfeited and the prize money will be donated to Pirates Charities.

Pirates Charities and the Pittsburgh Pirates are not responsible for any lost or stolen 50/50 RAFFLE tickets.

PIRATES CHARITIES REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Pirates Charities is a recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization existing under the laws of Pennsylvania and is a distinct legal entity from Pittsburgh Associates, LP, the legal entity which owns and operates the Pittsburgh Pirates Major League Baseball franchise. Pirates Charities is conducting the 50/50 RAFFLES at LECOM Park with the permission of and limited assistance from the Pittsburgh Pirates, but Pirates Charities is solely responsible for the operation and conduct of the Pirates Charities 50/50 RAFFLES. The official registration and financial information of Pirates Charities may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll free, within Pennsylvania, 1 (800) 732-0999. Registration does not imply endorsement.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS: By obtaining a Raffle ticket, buyers agree to release and hold harmless Pirates Charities, the Pittsburgh Pirates, the other MLB Entities (defined below), Bump5050, Bump Worldwide, Inc., and each of their respective parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies, and each of their respective shareholders, employees, directors, officers, affiliates, representatives, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, "Released Parties") against any and all liability claims or actions of any kind whatsoever arising directly or indirectly for injuries (including death), damages or losses to persons and property, which may be sustained in connection with the receipt or use of any prize, or while preparing for, participating, in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity. Pirates Charities, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering within the entry process or otherwise in violation of the official Rules. Pirates Charities further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the RAFFLE for any reason, including, but not limited to if any RAFFLE is not capable of completion as planned, including but not limited to, infection by tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, fraud, or acts of God. Pirates Charities will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to any RAFFLE. Released Parties make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any prize and disclaim any implied warranty. Failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. All disputes will be resolved under applicable U.S. Laws in the County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without reference to its conflicts of law principles.

Any attempt to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of any RAFFLE may be in violation of criminal and civil laws and will result in disqualification from participation in the RAFFLE. Should such an attempt be made, Pirates Charities reserves the right to seek remedies and damages (including attorney fees) to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution.

An Entrant's sole and exclusive remedy for any claim against Pirates Charities arising out of the sale of RAFFLE tickets or the conduct of the RAFFLE shall be limited to the return of the purchase price paid for his/her RAFFLE ticket(s), if any. In no event shall the Released Parties be liable to any party or ticket purchaser for any loss or injury to earnings, profits or goodwill, or for any incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages of any person or entity whether arising in contract, tort or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

The "MLB Entities" shall mean the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball ("BOC"), its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P., Major League Baseball Enterprises, Inc., Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., the Major League Baseball Clubs ("Clubs"), each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Clubs or the BOC and the owners, general and limited partners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees and agents of the foregoing entities.
